Savant Automation, Inc. Automatic Guided Vehicle / Guided Cart DC-24

The Savant Automation DC-24 is a low-profile, modular automatic guided vehicle designed for towing or tunneling under carts with a gross capacity of 10,000 lbs. It features a tape-free, target-free virtual path navigation system using inertial sensors, a 2.5 kW AC drive motor, and a 24-volt battery system with two 12V, 332 AH batteries providing at least 8 hours of operation on a standard duty cycle. The vehicle has a 10.6-inch diameter drive wheel, 8-inch caster wheels, and a unitized steel frame, with a weight of approximately 1,500 lbs. empty. Steering is via steered-wheel with fixed load wheels, achieving nominal positioning accuracy of ±1 inch longitudinally and latitudinally. It supports WiFi and 900 or 450 MHz RF communications, multi-range safety-rated laser sensors, and automatic charging with a minimum 3-foot turning radius. Operation is enabled by iQ-CAN™ control software and includes pendant manual control, automatic reversing, and elevator interface capabilities.
