Allegro MicroSystems Inc. Wide Input Voltage Range Boost/Sepic Con A80604KESJSR-1

The A80604KESJSR-1 is an automotive-grade LED driver for exterior lighting and displays, operating from 4.5 V to 40 V with boost or SEPIC topologies using an external MOSFET. It drives four LED strings, each up to 210 mA, with parallel support for 840 mA total. PWM dimming achieves 15,000:1 contrast at 200 Hz; 150,000:1 with analog blending. Minimum PWM on-time is 0.3 µs. Switching frequency is programmable from 260 kHz to 2.3 MHz and supports synchronization and dithering for EMI reduction. The A80604-1 variant provides 'One-Out-All-Out' fault handling. It is housed in a 24-pin, 4 mm × 4 mm QFN package with wettable flanks and an exposed thermal pad. AEC-Q100 qualified for ASIL B compliance.
