The A2557KB is a protected quad driver designed for relay-driving applications, capable of delivering up to 300 mA output current per channel. Each output features independent overcurrent protection and thermal limiting, with a maximum output voltage of 60 V and a sustaining voltage of 40 V. The device includes fault-detection circuitry that identifies open or shorted loads, activating a FAULT output when necessary. A low-power Sleep Mode reduces quiescent current to below 100 OºA when activated. The A2557KB is available in a 16-pin DIP package with exposed tabs, facilitating enhanced thermal dissipation. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 125 ¬8C, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
