The electronic hygrotherm ETF 012 monitors temperature and humidity to prevent condensation by switching heating or fan loads. This variant includes an external sensor with a 1 m cable and operates on DC 24 V to 48 V. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail, measures 77 mm × 60 mm × 43 mm, and weighs 200 g. The plastic case complies with UL94 V-0 and has an LED status display. The relay switches DC 60 V, 0.6 A for ohmic loads. Operating temperature ranges from -40 °C to 60 °C, with humidity up to 90 % RH. Humidity switching differential is 4 % RH with ±1 % RH tolerance. Reaction time is 5 s. Connections use a 5-pole clamp for wires up to 2.5 mm² with ferrules.
The electronic hygrotherm simultaneously monitors temperature and air humidity in enclosures and cabinets. Condensation is avoided by switching the heating and fans as required. In the design with an external sensor, this can be placed anywhere in the enclosure, enabling precise measurement.
