The 582 Series rackmount enclosure, available in 1.75”(1U) and 3.5” (2U), provides superior serviceability (up to 42{1U} or 21{2U} can be installed in a standard 6 foot 19” rack cabinet). The enclosure features a 2 slot (1U) or 4 slot (2U) CompactPCI Basic Hotswap and H.110, 2.9 IPMI Compliant backplane, 2 slot 80mm rear transition area. Alarming is available via an Intel ZT7102 IPMI Telecom Alarm Module. The 582 Series comes with hot swap redundant AC or Dual DC Input 200 W power supplies. The 582 Series features a positive pressure cooling scheme, two 7 cfm fans in the card cage area, and one 7 cfm fan in the rear transition area. Front and rear panel ESD jacks come standard fulfilling the requirements of NEBS III. The power On/Off switch is located at the rear. The 582 Series enclosure can be purchased with a variety of options including paint colors, custom logos, and Fabric backplanes.
