The P5224 special text report printer was developed specifically for high volume report printing. The P5224 delivers an unequaled performance threshold of 2400 lpm in draft density, or 1800 lpm in data processing mode. While fully capable of producing high-quality bar codes and graphics for the supply chain, the P5224’s highest performance levels are best suited for heavy text printing applications. The print mechanism is specifically optimized for peak performance when textis printed at the common report spacing of six lines per inch. The printer uses the very latest Printronix System Architecture (PSA®3). The open architecture design of PSA®3 provides the widest possible array of connectivity solutions.
