The Series BT645 is a True Union Saf-Bloc ball valve with all-plastic construction and no wetted metals, designed for use with PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, or PVDF bodies and PTFE seats. It features dual union ends for simplified piping, full port design, and reversible PTFE seats for smooth operation. The valve is NSF® approved. Maximum test pressure is 235 PSI for 1/2" through 2" sizes and 150 PSI for 3" and 4" at 75°F; polypropylene is rated at 70% of these values. O-rings are available in EPDM or FKM. The handle is molded ABS. Socket, NPT, or flange connections are supported. Dimensions vary by size, with overall length ranging from 4.53 in. to 12.72 in. and port sizes from 1/2" to 4".
Valve body, stem, ball, seat carrier, union nuts and connections are choice of PVC, CPVC, beige polypro, or PVDF. Seats are PTFE; O-rings are choice of EPDM or FKM. Handle is molded of ABS. Maximum test pressure under laboratory conditions at 75°F is 235 PSI on 1/2" through 2" sizes, 150 PSI on 3" and 4". Polypro is rated at 70% of these values. Actual maximum pressure varies by application based on temperature, flow rate,and media.
