The GGMU series is an ultra-pure, inline gauge guard designed to eliminate dead-leg contamination in liquid systems, using a flexible elastomer spool to transmit pressure accurately while isolating the gauge from process fluid. It features true union ends, a bleed port for complete filling, and sanitary, crevice-free seals. The GGMUEP-PP-B variant includes EPDM elastomers and natural polypropylene wetted parts, with a 25mm (3/4") pipe size, and accepts a standard 2.5-inch stainless steel gauge with 1/4" NPT connection. Dimensions are 4.52 in. (115 mm) length, 1.87 in. (47 mm) diameter, and 3.83 in. (97 mm) height. Only pressure service is supported; vacuum use is not permitted.
