Picosecond Pulse Labs, Inc.Surface Mount Bias TeeModel SM100
Description
Features
14 kHz to 13 GHz
Surface Mount
High Performance
Low Cost
Small Footprint: 1.02" x 0.64" Applications
OC-192 Telecom Systems
Laser or Photodiode Biasing
Amplifier Biasing The Picosecond Advantage: Our Model SM100 Surface Mount Bias Tee is a high performance component with very low insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB to >9 GHz.Description: This an ultra-broadband bias tee with a DC blocking capacitor that is designed for use in 10 Gb/s systems. The risetime is only 21 ps and the -3 dB bandwidth extends from 14 kHz to 13 GHz. The small size and low cost enables system designers to achieve increasingly stringent package size and cost goals. As a leadless soldermount electrical component, it can be connected to microstrip lines on a circuit board facilitating automated PC board assembly. Note: A product guide, PG-3041 "SM100 Bias Tee Mounting and Testing Notes", which describes some guidelines for PC board assembly processing, and precision frequency response testing information, is available at the time of order.
