PennEngineering® Large Knob, Spring-loaded - Types PF11MF and PF12MF - Unified PF11MF-632-1

The PF11MF-632-1 is a spring-loaded, flare-mounted captive panel screw with a knurled metal cap and a #6-32 thread, designed for installations requiring flush mounting on the back side of thin panels and compensation for mating hole misalignment. It features an anti-cross-threading design, a shoulder for positive installation stop, and is constructed with an aluminum knob and retainer, a hardened carbon steel screw, and a 300 series stainless steel spring. The screw is zinc plated per ASTM B633, SC1 (5µm), and a DuraBlack finish is available. The minimum float capability is 0.010 inch (0.25 mm) in all directions. Installation requires a countersunk hole and specific HAEGER or PEMSERTER tooling with an anvil and punch matching the 0.390 inch (9.91 mm) anvil diameter and 0.468 inch (11.89 mm) punch diameter. Minimum sheet thickness for installation is 0.041 inch.
