FH-215-16ZC is a self-clinching pin in the FH, FHS, and FHA series, designed for permanent installation in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.020 in. These flush-head pins install with a standard press, creating a high-resistance anchor through displaced material flow. Type FH is suitable for sheets with a hardness of HRB 80 or less and HB 150 or less; FHS for HRB 70 or less and HB 125 or less; FHA for aluminum sheets with HRB 50 or less and HB 82 or less. The pins are available unthreaded on special order. Appearance variations from manufacturing processes do not affect fit, form, or function.
PEM® self-clinching studs are installed by placing them in properly sized holes in the sheets and squeezing into place with any standard press. The squeezing action embeds the head of the stud into the sheet. The metal displaced by the head flows smoothly and evenly around the ribs and into the annular groove – creating a flushhead assembly and securely locking the stud into the sheet with high torque-out and pushout resistances.
FH (flush-head) studs are available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel . They are also available unthreaded on special order.
