The BSO-3-5M3-10ZI is a blind threaded standoff designed for self-clinching applications, suitable for mounting, spacing, or stacking panels in metal sheets as thin as 0.025 inches (0.63 mm). This standoff is made from hardened stainless steel, providing durability and resistance to corrosion, especially when nickel plating is applied. It is specifically designed for installation in blind holes, ensuring that the outer surfaces remain flush and closed after installation. The standoff features a metric thread size of M3 and a length of 10 mm, making it compatible with various assembly requirements. Its robust design allows for reliable performance in applications where secure fastening is essential.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
When blind-threaded types are used, outer sheet surfaces are not only flush, but closed as well.
