The SD48 is a single-phase or three-phase capacitor-start asynchronous AC motor with a 120 mm frame and 59 mm stack length, designed for continuous operation (S1). This variant is a three-phase, 400 V AC, 2800 rpm motor with a 50 Hz supply, featuring a GB9 gear reduction unit. The motor has an IP54 enclosure rating when totally enclosed and fan-cooled, with insulation class F and an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. The standard brake torque is 0.4 Nm, and the motor weighs 6.5 kg. Gearbox additions increase length by 138 mm. Brakes are not available on TEFC models.
