larger image Conoco Tacna 2000 is a high-quality, extreme pressure (EP) lithium grease developed for industrial use in heavily loaded sleeve-type bushings and bearings commonly found on buckets in mining and off-road equipment such as electric shovels, draglines, wheel and backhoe loaders, excavators, pipe layers and soil compactors. Tacna 2000 is manufactured with high-quality paraffinic base oils, a polymer and a lithium 12-hydroxystearate soap thickener. It is fortified with extreme-pressure and antiwear additives, plus corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. It has good oxidation resistance, a high load-carrying capacity for excellent wear protection, and protects metal parts against rust and corrosion. It provides a high level of adhesion to the bearing surface for improved retention and resistance to water washout, and has excellent resistance to structural breakdown even under severe operating conditions. Tacna 2000 Grade No. 2 is ideal for use in heavily loaded sleeve-type bushings and bearings operating at medium to high ambient temperatures and subject to shock loading. Tacna 2000 Grade No. 1 provides easier pumpability and is recommended for use at lower ambient temperatures.
