The flux applicator is used to apply gel flux to the balls on a BGA. There are 2 "wells" milled into the block, one 15 mil and the other 10 mil. Gel flux is applied, the squeegee is used to level the flux, and the component can be "dipped" into the gel flux. The depth of gel flux application is controlled.
