A Fresnel cylindrical lens has a linear fresnel structure. It collects light in one direction and the result is a line image instead of a point image.
The designs can be trimmed according to customer requirements (within limits of clear aperture). It is possible to combine a Fresnel lens structure with other structures like diffusers or microlens arrays in the same part through double-sided structuring. Optical coatings for increased efficiency are possible.
