The WAL200 series is a hollow shaft rotary position sensor designed for use as an unloaded voltage divider in applications such as volumetric dosing systems and joysticks. It offers a 280° electrical angle with nominal resistances of 5 or 10 kΩ and a tolerance of ±20%. The mechanical range is 360° continuous, with a maximum repeatability of 0.3° and hysteresis of 0.6°. It supports a maximum wiper current of 1 µA under normal operation and 10 mA during malfunction, with a power rating of 0.3 W at 40°C. The temperature coefficient is 5 ppm/°C, and the device is rated for 2 million electrical and mechanical movements. It operates from -25°C to +75°C, meets IP50 protection, has an insulating resistance of 10 GΩ, and withstands 1 kV AC dielectric strength. Vibration and shock ratings are 10 g and 50 g respectively.
