Novotechnik U.S., Inc. Rotary Multi-Turn Rotary Position Sensors ML Series (Geared)

The ML6-ML100 Series is a family of geared conductive plastic potentiometers designed for multi-turn rotary position sensing with 6 to 100 revolutions. The sensors feature a 13 mm housing profile and use sinter bronze sleeve bearings with a brass, nickel-plated shaft. The conductive plastic resistance element delivers independence linearity as tight as ±0.25% for ML25 and higher models, with repeatability down to 0.01%. A maximum wiper current of 1 µA is recommended, and the electrical travel ranges up to 34,560°. The operation is rated under an IP65 protection class, with a temperature range of -25°C to +75°C, a mechanical life of 15×10⁶ movements, and a maximum shaft loading of 1 N. The output voltage ratio has a typical temperature coefficient of 5 ppm/K.
