The concept behind inline spring coiling is to eliminate all the steps between spring design and insertion of the spring into the assembly by coiling the spring directly within the assembly line. Concept: As illustrated above the spring is made ( coiled ) right on the assembly line saving all the cost associated with purchasing, shipping, storing, inspection, separating, and feeding the spring. This is accomplished by the employment of one of the several coiling systems offered by Colombi which can not only make the spring but inspects it, load tests it, heat treats it, and finally delivers it in an oriented fashion directly to the assembly point. Features: There are several system types available from Colombi. The features listed may not be found on every style system.
