Newport MKS Industrial Optical Mount, Flexure, 0.75 in., Clear Edge, Locking Adjusters, Left-Handed, Metric M-MFM-075CL

The M-MFM-075CL Compact Stainless Steel Flexure Mirror Mount is designed for set and forget OEM applications. The Clear Edge design allows for plate beamsplitter to pass the transmitted beam at 45 degrees through the edge of the mount. Welded construction, stiff flexure pivots, and precision adjustment screws provide excellent mechanical stability. 80-pitch adjustment screws yield arc sec-level sensitivity over a ±2.5° range and can be locked once adjustments are complete. A 3/4 inch (19.05 mm) diameter optics can be secured with the built in nylon-tipped set screw or, using the adhesive wells, permanently bonded to the mount. An optional adaptor, Model A-75-50, is available to accommodate 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) optics. MFM Mounts are Designed for Industrial Applications Newport’s MFM Series Mirror Mounts are specifically designed for “Set and Forget” OEM applications. They all have: 1) Compact geometry, 2) Hex key (knobless) adjusters to save space and prevent tampering. 3) Extra stiffness from stainless steel construction. 4) Adhesive wells for permanent mirror mounting. Flexure Design Means Compact Size With a flexure mirror mount, a spring-steel element provides the means for angular positioning. The double-duty ability of the flexure provides both guided rotation as well as the spring force, enabling a more compact design. Clear Edge Versions for Beamsplitting Application Specially designed for beamsplitting applications, we now offer clear edge MFM series mounts which allow for plate beamsplitter to pass the transmitted beam at 45 degrees through the edge of the mount. These mounts are designed for 0.75 in. optic and offered in right- and left-handed, imperial and metric versions.
