Newport MKS Iris Diaphragm, 2.4 to 41.3 mm Aperture Range, 8-32, 18 Leaves ID-1.5

Description
The ID-1.5 Iris Diaphragm uses 18 leaves to provide a continuously variable aperture for applications including setting the numerical aperture of a lens, controlling or measuring the intensity of a diffuse beam, or approximating beam diameters. They may also be used as baffles to reduce spurious reflections and scattered light. The ID-1.5 offers a 2.4 to 41.3 mm aperture range. Designed for smooth adjustment and the best possible aperture shape, each iris consists of an array of curved, spring-steel leaves whose orientation is determined by the relative position of two rings. A pin handle on the inner ring lets you adjust the aperture without risk of obstructing the beam path. ID-1.5 Iris Diaphragm mounts directly on Posts and Pedestals. This product is also available in 6-piece saving pack ID-1.5-PK . Continuously Adjustable Opening With Ideal Shape For smooth adjustment and an optimal shape for the aperture opening, each iris consists of an array of curved, overlapping, spring-steel leaves that intersect into the circular opening. Up to 18 leaves adjust continuously between two supporting rings with the adjustment of a pin handle attached to the inner ring.
