The F-STR-103D-250 Fiber Optic Stripper is a popular dual hole durable Miller® tool that removes 900 μm tight buffer, and 250 μm coating from 125 μm diameter fibers. There is no need of having a jacket stripper and a coating stripper separately. The precision diameter hole and the V opening in the blade allows for accurate and clean buffer layer removal. All cutting surfaces are precision formed, hardened, tempered and ground, all assuring precise stripping. 5.375 in. (136.5 mm) length and 2.5 oz. (71 g) weight. Multiple Hole Fiber Strippers for Extra Flexibility The F-STR-103D series fiber optic strippers allow to strip the 2 - 3 mm outer jacket, 900 µm buffer, and the 250 µm polymer coating for the standard 125 µm fiber using only a single tool. Factory Set and Ready to Use Out-of-the Box These fiber optic stripping tools are factory set so there is no need for adjustment or calibration. The tool may be periodically checked for proper operation. Prior to and during the inspection, the tool may be cleaned with a plastic bristled brush to remove debris from the opening. The opening may be cleaned with dry compressed air.
