CONEX-PR50CC is a compact rotation stage integrated with a CONEX-CC controller designed to rotate optical components up to 1-inch diameter, such as polarizers, wave plates, or wedges. The small size allows use in confined spaces, such as laser cavities, disk texturing machines, or manufacturing areas for fiber optical components. PR50CC is faster, but has lower resolution than SR50CC. The CONEX-CC is a very compact and inexpensive linear driver that has been optimized for Newport’s low power DC servo motor driven devices. Compared to cheaper PWM amplifiers, the CONEX-CC delivers smoother motion with less electrical noise and significantly less motor heating. The CONEX™ controller comes with a USB cable and a CONEX-PS-CB for daisy-chaining modules. Power supply to be ordered separately. For OEM applications, an optional retainer to secure the USB and power cables is available. Compact Controller and Stage In terms of size, the CONEX-CC controller is comparable to a deck of cards.
