The BSD-2A Beam Steerer lets you easily set your laser beam height and precisely control the azimuth and elevation angles of the beam leaving the periscope device. Our beam steerer has two fully adjustable mirror mounts, allowing entering beams to be non-parallel to the table surface. Adjust the bottom mirror to center the beam on the top mirror, then adjust the top mirror to steer the beam to the desired location. ULTIMA® Mirror Mounts with 45° mirror holders for 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter mirrors allow your beam to be precisely positioned. Sliding clamps on a solid stainless steel post, 8 inch (203.2 mm) high, when assembled, provide height adjustment with high stability. If a taller beam steerer is required, simply attach a PS series extension post. The beam steerer is securely mounted anywhere on an optical table using the stainless steel clamping fork. Two 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter mirrors must be ordered separately.
