Newport MKS Integrating Sphere, 3-Port, 4 in. Diameter, Diffuse Gold Coating 819D-GL-4

Description
The 819D-GL-4 is a 4 inch, gold coated, 3-port integrating sphere. The gold coated spheres are optimized to provide high level of diffuse reflectance from 800 nm to 20 um (>90% at 800 nm, >94% at 1550 nm) . Its damage threshold is 19.7 J/cm2, which is 4 times greater than Spectralon. The port at 0° is typically used for beam input. The port at 90° is typically used for a detector, while the port at the North Pole location (top) is for fiber optic taping to monitor the wavelength. The sphere is suitable for accurate, absolute value light power measurement of laser diodes and other diverging beam. The measurements will be insensitive to errors caused by detector positioning or problems associated with overfilling, or saturation, of the active area of the detector. A baffle, positioned between the input port and the detector port prevents the detector from directly viewing the emitting aperture of the laser or the direct area of illumination. By adding various port adapters and accessories, numerous integrating sphere configurations can be obtained.
