The 818-FA Connectorized Fiber Adapter Mount allows the FP3/FP4 series fiber connector adapters to be connected to Newport's photodiode detectors. The fiber connector adapters can be easily and securely plugged using the two spring loaded ball bearings on the 818-FA Fiber Adapter Mount. They can also be fastened to the 818-FA with two screws, either 2-56 or M2 (0.14" deep threads), allowing consistent fiber position for accurate power measurements.
Please note that Newport does not calibrate the detectors with any of these adapters implemented in them. Compatible with the following photodiode detectors: 818-xx-L, 818, 918D Series Low-Power Photodetectors, and legacy 918 Series detectors.
