The 81389-LCS Air Mass Filter simulates the solar spectrum from directional rays at a zenith angle of 37.0° to ground level for the LCS-100 Class ABB simulators. It does not account for sunlight that is scattered by the atmosphere or diffusely reflected off other objects. This is only sunlight that transmits directly through the atmosphere to the surface of the earth.
This filter is only compatible with the 94011A(-ES) simulators. This air mass filter includes the LCS-100 solar simulator's integral filter holder, with a convenient pull handle allowing for quick and easy insertion as well as removal of the filter. The 81389-LCS is an AM Direct type filter which meets the AM 1.5 D spectrum per the ASTM E 891 standard.
