The 20LP-NIR Precision Linear Polarizers is constructed by laminating a polymer polarizing film between two high-precision glass windows. Each window has a high-efficiency 1100 to 1750 nm broadband NIR antireflection coating. The assembly is mounted in a 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter black anodized aluminum housing for protection and provides a 30.5 mm clear aperture. The transmission axis is clearly marked. The result is a linear polarizer with high transmission and low wavefront distortion that are easy to mount. Near Infrared Polarizer Our near infrared polarizers are recommended for 1100-1750 nm wavelength applications, and use a Grade A N-BK7 substrate. Black Anodized Aluminum Housings The polarizer assembly is mounted in a black anodized aluminum housing for protection, with the transmission axis clearly marked. The result is linear polarizers with high transmission and low wavefront distortion. The standard outer diameters are convenient for mounting into Newport rotary mounts.
