The JWL series is a high inrush current rocker switch rated for 16A at 125/250V AC and 5A at 72V DC, with a TV-8 rating for overload and endurance testing. It features a panel seal version (JWLW) meeting IP67 of IEC 60529, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. The rocker is made of polyphenylene ether (UL94V-0), the housing of polyamide (UL94V-0), and the terminals are brass with silver plating. An interior seal provides dust resistance, and terminals are epoxy sealed to exclude contaminants. Solder lug and quick connect terminals are supported. Electrical and mechanical life is 25,000 operations minimum. The switch is marked with TV rating, UL, CSA, and VDE certifications. The /U suffix indicates the UL mark is present on the switch body.
