NKK Switches Subminiature Slide AS22AW

The AS series comprises subminiature slide switches designed for low-voltage, logic-level applications, with a subminiature footprint one-third the size of Series M switches. The switch features a nonshorting (break-before-make) contact mechanism, 50 milliohm maximum contact resistance, and 500 megohm minimum insulation resistance. It operates at 0.4VA maximum under 28V AC/DC, with 50,000-cycle mechanical and electrical life. The actuator is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, housing of carbon-blended polyacetal for antistatic properties, and contacts use gold-plated phosphor bronze and brass. Terminals have 2.54mm x 2.54mm spacing, conforming to standard PCB grids. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The AS22AW corresponds to a double pole, ON-NONE-ON circuit configuration with right-angle PCB terminals and a .098" (2.5mm) long actuator, as typified in the AS22AH variant. All variants share these electrical and mechanical ratings. The series meets no UL or CSA certifications.
