The AB Series consists of sealed subminiature pushbuttons designed for logic-level applications, with a subminiature footprint that saves space on PCBs. The switches feature a STC contact mechanism for positive detent actuation and enhanced reliability, with a nonshorting contact timing and a nominal operating force of 2.55N. They are rated for 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC, with contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C, with a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 operations minimum. The case is constructed of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts and brass terminals. Terminal spacing is 2.54mm x 2.54mm, conforming to standard PCB grid layouts. The AB11BW variant is a single pole, push-pull circuit with a straight actuator and bracket, and is PCB mountable with wave or manual soldering. The part is not certified to UL or CSA standards.
