NKK Switches Process Sealed Subminiature Pushbutton AB11BB-FA

The AB series is a sealed subminiature pushbutton designed for logic-level applications, with a subminiature footprint that saves space on PCBs. It features a totally sealed body to prevent contamination and supports automated soldering and cleaning. The switch has a nonshorting contact timing, 50,000 operations minimum mechanical and electrical life, and operates at 0.4VA maximum @ 28V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, with insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC and dielectric strength of 500V AC for one minute. The operating temperature range is -30°C to +85°C. The case is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, with phosphor bronze contacts gold-plated for reliability. Terminal spacing is 2.54mm x 2.54mm, conforming to standard PCB grids. The AB11BB-FA model is a single-pole, double-throw switch with a straight PC terminal and a bracket, as indicated by its ordering code.
