NKK Switches Process Sealed Subminiature Toggle A18JV

The A Series is a family of sealed subminiature toggle switches designed for low-voltage, low-current logic-level applications. The switches feature a totally sealed body to prevent contamination, mold-in epoxy or ultrasonic weld terminals, and .100" x .100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) terminal spacing conforming to standard PCB grid patterns. Electrical ratings include a maximum resistive load of 0.4VA at 28V AC/DC, contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum, and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC. The mechanical life is 100,000 operations for On-None-On and On-Off-On circuits, and 50,000 for others; electrical life is 50,000 operations minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The toggle action has a 26° throw and nonshorting contact timing. The case and toggle are made from glass fiber reinforced polyamide, with phosphor bronze contacts plated in gold.
