Morgan Composite and Defence Systems specialises in the design of protected weapon stations using CAMAC® ultra-light armour. Working in close collaboration with our customers we design bespoke systems for specific requirements including transparent armour, overhead protection and collapsible shields. Designs are engineered to optimise sight lines and for user requirements such as stowage. The armour’s lightweight construction reduces additional platform weight, adverse centre of gravity effects and electromagnetic compatibility issues. Features of our CAMAC® ultra-light protected weapon stations include: High multi-hit performance at extreme low weight Reduced impact on vehicle centre of gravity Reduced rotational inertia enabling weapon to bear more quickly Less spall in overmatch Reduced impact on vehicle electromagnetic compatibility, electronic and communication systems Low radar signature Fire-resistant, corrosion-resistant and environmentally hardened
