The Modern Linear Vector Trio Rail series VTR-3 consists of rigid stainless steel linear rails with a 1.000 inch width, 8.000 inch height, and 0.406 inch track thickness, featuring a .75 x .30DP ball track. Each rail is available in lengths from 10.00 to 66.00 inches with 2 to 9 mounting holes, equally spaced on both sides. All dimensions comply with industry standards at ±0.005 inches. The series is designed for use with Vector Trio carriages and is offered as a rigid configuration for stable, fixed applications.
The Modern Linear Vector Trio Rail is the mating part to the Vector Trio Carriage. Together, they make up the Vector Trio Linear Guide. Rail and carriage are purchased separately. The standard rail includes a 6063 anodized aluminum extrusion and standard, 1045 steel, single edge track permanently fixed in the extrusion slots.
420 stainless steel track can be selected as a standard option. A rigid rail design can be ordered as a standard option. It should be paired with the adjustable carriage for applications where setting or changing the fit of the carriage to the rail is desirable.
