VGA 3.5mm Stereo Audio Over CAT5E/CAT6 Active Extender Wall Plate Set This extender device provides an economical, yet robust way to connect any VGA/WGA with audio devices using a single CAT5E or CAT6 cable. Perfect for any presentation application, it has 350MHz video bandwidth for clear and sharp images up to 1,000 ft. (300M) away. Provides gain and EQ control for optimal picture and decora wall plate styling. It supports resolution up to 1600x1200 @ 60Hz. Includes wall plate transmitter & receiver, and universal power adapters. Tech Note: Standard pre-made patch cords (stranded conductors) shouldn’t be used for these products. Use solid conductor CAT5E/CAT6 bulk cable throughout installation run, correctly terminated with RJ45 connectors (T568B). Avoid breaking cabling up by going thru CAT5E/CAT6 wall plate jacks and panels. AV over CAT5E/CAT6 extenders in general are designed and tested to work directly from the original Source device (laptop, BlueRay DVD, cable/satellite box, etc.) to the Display/HDTV. Although success can be experienced, signal performance, compatibility, and endurance over time can't be guaranteed when combined with AV receivers/signal processors, switches or splitters/amplifiers between the original Source and Display. Having surge protection on both the source and display side (transmitter and receiver) is highly recommended.
