The standard-compliant design according to VDE 0100-717 and the IP55 protection class ensure a maximum of safety. The screwless installation, which is also possible at a later date, ensures efficient retrofitting and upgrading of a vehicle fleet.
With protection class IP55, the MelfBox is protected against moisture and dirt particles and can withstand even rugged applications without damage. Delayed electrical activation and electronic disconnection of the load before the coupling is pulled out/unplugged prevent contact burnout and minimise the risk of wear.
