The ZL30154 Synchronous Ethernet Network Synchronizer, part of Microchip's ClockCenter platform is a highly integrated device that provides all of the functionality that is required for a central timing card in carrier grade network equipment. The ZL30154 efficiently handles all synchronization, wander and jitter filtering and clock rate translations required for a synchronous 10GBASE-W/10GBASE-R system.
The ZL30154 includes 2 programmable digital PLLs synchronizing to any clock rate from 1 Hz to 750 MHz. It includes 4 programmable synthesizers that can generate any clock rate from 1Hz to 750 MHz supporting Ethernet clock rates and all OTN clock rates. The highly integrated solution allows the transmission of SyncE over OTN channel without the need for additional rate conversion PLLs.
