The device features robust protection against load dump transients up to 43V and is designed to withstand high electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) events, with a rating of ¬±15 kV for LBUS and VBB pins. The MCP2050 includes an on-chip voltage regulator that provides either 5.0V or 3.3V output at 70 mA, along with a programmable windowed watchdog timer (WWDT) and two low-power modes to minimize quiescent current. The device operates effectively across an extended temperature range of -40¬8C to +125¬8C, making it suitable for harsh environments.
