Master Bond, Inc. High Temperature Resistant, One Component Epoxy System EP13

Description
Master Bond Polymer System EP13 is a one component heat curing epoxy featuring high shear strength and very high temperature resistance. This one component system is formulated to cure at temperatures from 300°F to 350°F for 60-90 minutes. Upon cure, EP13 readily attains tensile shear strengths in excess of 3,500 psi. The service temperature range is -60°F to 450°F. EP13 forms rigid and dimensionally stable bonds with minimal shrinkage upon cure. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. EP13 is a paste and can be applied to vertical surfaces without sagging or dripping. Also, EP13 possesses high compressive strength and is readily machinable. As a one part system, Master Bond Polymer System EP13 is easy to handle as it does not require mixing prior to use and has an unlimited working life at room temperature. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. It has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals including fuels, acids, bases, oils and many solvents. The standard color is gray. EP13 is an excellent electrical insulator. The cured adhesive fully meets the requirements of MIL-MMM-A-132.
