Operation Friction type heavy duty clutch mechanism engages with air pressure, spring released when air is exhausted Torque is linear in response to air pressure applied Mounting Through/Mid Shaft or End of Shaft Heavy duty clutch mechanism slides on shaft and is fixed with set screws and a customer supplied key Adapter connects to a fully supported, bearing mounted pulley, gear or sprocket Anti-rotation arm required to prevent rotation of the air housing Heavy duty clutch mechanisms are designed for horizontal mounting. If vertical mounting is required, consult engineering for options Note: Heavy Duty Clutch Mechanism DOES NOT support Adapter Applications Heavy duty clutch mechanisms are suitable for cycling applications connecting and disconnecting two fully supported shafts Maximum RPM varies by model. Please consult the detail sheets (below). Consult engineering if the intended application exceeds the listed maximum RPM.
