The IN5 Series consists of high-temperature inductive proximity sensors with a 50 mm sensing range, operating on 10-35 VDC with N.O. or N.C. outputs. They have a 120 mA load current, 50 Hz switching frequency, and 200 mA short circuit limit. Mounting is unshielded, and the sensors are rated for operation up to 160 °C, with an external amplifier version extending to 230 °C. IP67 protection is standard. Cable is 3 × 0.25 mm² silicone, 2 m long. Reverse polarity and overvoltage protection are included, with a 100 kΩ load resistor and 4 mA leakage at 24 V. Vibration resistance is 1 mm at 55 Hz; shock resistance is 5 g for 11 ms. The sensing face is LPC-Vectra.
