High temperature inductive proximity sensors in the IN3 series are shielded M12 sensors with a 3 mm sensing range. They operate from 10 to 35 VDC, with N.O. or N.C. outputs and a load current of 120 mA up to 130 °C or 70 mA up to 150 °C. The switching frequency is 500 Hz, and the short circuit limit is 400 mA. IP67 protection, reverse polarity protection, and a 100 kΩ load resistor are included. Operating temperature ranges from -25 to 150 °C. The target is 12 x 12 x 1 mm ST37. Vibration resistance is 1 mm at 55 Hz, and shock resistance is 10 g for 11 ms. EMC immunity complies with IEC 61000-4-2, -4-3, -4-4 Level 2 and IEC 60255-5 at 1 kV. Sensing range tolerance is ±10%.
LOCON your reliable choice for high quality inductive sensors
With short circuit and overload protections built in, these sensors are built to last. With additional load resistance and reverse polarity prevention features, and backed by Locon’s quality assurance guarantee, you will be assured these devices will work within spec, even in harsh environments.
Our sensors are also designed with a protection rating (DIN 40 050) of IP67, great for most industrial purposes.
