Super Safe-T halogen light bulbs have a proprietary coating that makes the bulbs shatter-resistant. If the bulb should break, the Super Safe-T coating contains the glass, preventing the spread of sharp glass that could become dangerous. Super Safe-T halogen light bulbs are ideal for food service applications, where broken glass causes a major health concern.
