ultraView Universal Red is a multimer-technology based detection system intended for the specific and sensitive detection of mouse and rabbit primary antibodies. The kit is biotin-free, thus it eliminates non-specific staining resulting from endogenous biotin. ultraView Universal Red consists of a robust chemistry that provides a clean background for the sensitive and specific visualization of the targeted antigen and is especially useful for the detection of antigens present in low concentrations. The primary antibody-alkaline phosphatase labeled antibody complex is visualized using Fast Red/Naphthol resulting in a bright red target signal. This detection system is optimized for use on the NexES IHC and BenchMark Series automated slide stainers. The resulting slide can be dehydrated through graded alcohols and xylene and and permanently coverslipped using standard histology methods.
