KOSTER Dachflex is a solvent-free synthetic waterproofing coating designed for use on dry and slightly damp substrates. It features a fast-drying, elastic, and flexible formulation that is both watertight and water vapor permeable. The product is resistant to aging, UV rays, frost, and de-icing salts, making it suitable for various roofing applications, including tile, concrete, and bituminous materials, as well as flat roofs with a minimum slope of 5%. The coating is applied in two layers, with a recommended waiting time of approximately 3 hours between applications. It can be colored using compatible weather- and UV-resistant pigment pastes. Coverage is approximately 0.15 to 0.2 lb/ft¬= per coat, with a total consumption of 0.3 to 0.4 lb/ft¬=. The product is packaged in 44 lb buckets and should be stored in a cool, frost-free environment for up to 12 months. Proper substrate preparation is essential, including cleaning and priming as necessary.
