Model AS4 electric spring return actuator is a robust heavy-duty actuator recommended for systems requiring as many as 74 cycles per day (approximately 27,000 annually). Like model ES2 the operating cycle life of the actuator is drastically affected by the model of operation, power to open and close will provide for years of reliable performance. AS4 has a spring end torque of 400 lb·in with a closing speed of 3 sec./90 degrees upon loss of power. This actuator is ideally suited for ball valves and dampers with torque ratings of up to 300 lb·in. Standard equipment includes 115Vac-1ph Continuous duty motor with thermal over load protection, set to fail closed (CW rotation) upon loss of power, two limit switches, power on brake, stainless steel fasteners, 300 series stainless steel output drive, polyester powder coating.
