The L Series rotary electric actuator is designed for quarter-turn valve and damper applications requiring torque from 700 to 3840 in-lbs. It features a sand-cast aluminum enclosure rated NEMA 4 and/or 7, with a thermally bonded polyester powder coating. The unit includes a permanent split capacitor motor with thermal overload protection, manual declutching override with hand wheel, visual position indicator, and snap-action SPDT limit switches rated 15A at 250Vac. Operating voltages include 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 24Vac, 115Vac, 230Vac-1Ph, 230Vac-3Ph, and 460Vac-3Ph. It meets CSA C3228, CSA C3229, and UL 50 standards for hazardous locations, and is certified for Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D, and Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G. Mounted via ISO 5211 F07 or F10 pad with 22mm star drive. Weight is 40 lb (18.1 kg).
