The PSLC-L series comprises single-acting pneumatic shaft-locking clamps designed for automated clamping and unclamping of shafts in stationary positions, using spring force for clamping and air pressure for release. The clamps are mounted via M5 or M6 hex-socket head cap screws and feature an aluminum body with stainless steel components. They operate with clean, dry air and are rated for holding torque and sliding loads depending on size and variant. The φ3 mark identifies low-pressure models. Operation requires the shaft to be stationary; use as a brake or for frequent cycling without a shaft is prohibited. These units are suited for remote, multiple, and space-constrained applications such as position locking on linear slides.
