Brand COREX® Category Gas-Shielded Wires, Carbon Steel, All Position Description Vision AP 70 is a new generation, premium all position gas shielded flux cored wire designed to have extra low smoke emission levels. This wire provides unsurpassed operator appeal while reducing fume emission rates by 50% versus standard flux cored wire products. This wire produces an extremely smooth arc with low spatter levels. The reduced fume levels allow the operator to see the weld puddle better for enhanced welding performance and quality. It produces a smooth weld bead appearance and superior wash at the toe of the weld. Applications Vision AP 70 is designed for both single and multi-pass welding of low and medium carbon mild steels in all positions, particularly in shop applications where total smoke levels are a concern. It is ideally suited for high production and automatic applications where a high performance, general purpose flux cored wire is required. It provides controlled hydrogen levels ( < 10 ml / 100 g ) and will produce x-ray qualilty welds.
